Do I need to create an account?
No. EveryShot works without an account. We create a device-linked profile automatically so you can start tracking immediately. Your data is stored locally and synced to our servers without requiring email or password.
Is EveryShot free?
Core features are free: shot tracking, playing rounds, multiplayer with friends, leaving course notes, GPS map view, and connecting with friends to see their rounds. Advanced statistics and viewing community course notes require a monthly subscription.
Does it work offline?
Yes. You can track an entire round without cell service. Your data syncs automatically when you reconnect to the internet. This is especially useful on courses with poor coverage.
How do I share a round with friends?
Start your round, then tap the share icon to get a 6-character join code. Share this code with your playing partners and they can join your round. Everyone's scores update in real-time.
My course isn't in the database. What do I do?
Tap the support button on the Profile tab and let us know which course is missing. We'll add it to the database for you.
What is the EveryShot Rating?
EveryShot Rating is a dynamic skill score that updates after every round you play. Unlike traditional handicap which changes slowly, your EveryShot Rating responds quickly to how you're playing, giving you a more accurate picture of your current skill level.
How is EveryShot Rating calculated?
EveryShot Rating uses a weighted average of your recent rounds, factoring in course difficulty and conditions. More recent rounds have greater impact than older ones, allowing the rating to respond quickly when your game improves or declines.
How accurate are the statistics?
Statistics are only as accurate as your tracking. If you consistently record your shot results, the stats will be accurate. The app calculates GIR, fairway percentage, scrambling, and putting stats automatically based on your input.
What statistics does EveryShot track?
EveryShot tracks Greens in Regulation (GIR), Fairways Hit percentage, Scrambling rate, Sand Save percentage, Putts per Hole, Putts per GIR, and scoring distribution by hole type (par 3s, 4s, 5s). All stats are calculated automatically from your shot-by-shot input.
Can I edit a round after I finish?
Editing completed rounds is on our roadmap. Currently, you can make changes during your round but not after it's finished.
Is my data backed up?
Yes. Your data is automatically synced to our servers when you have an internet connection. If you get a new phone, your rounds will be there when you install the app (linked to your device profile).
Can I export my data?
Data export is on our roadmap. Currently, all your rounds and statistics are viewable within the app. We plan to add CSV and PDF export options for scorecards and statistics summaries.
What courses are in the database?
EveryShot includes over 30,000 golf courses worldwide, with detailed hole-by-hole data including par, yardage for multiple tee boxes, and handicap index. Coverage is strongest in the United States, with growing international support.
What platforms is EveryShot available on?
EveryShot is currently available for iOS (iPhone). We're focused on making the iOS app excellent before expanding to other platforms. Apple Watch support is not currently available but is being considered for future development.
